Major electric vehicle (EV) makers continued to see mixed sales performance in China last week.

For the week of July 15-21, Nio (NYSE: NIO) vehicles saw 4,600 insurance registrations in China, up 35.29 percent from 3,400 in the previous week, according to data shared today by Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI).

Li Auto stopped sharing weekly insurance registration numbers earlier this year, after doing so for about 1 year. It resumed sharing those numbers in early May.

So far this month, there have been 13,300 insurance registrations of Nio vehicles in China, data compiled by CnEVPost show.

Nio delivered 21,209 vehicles in June, surpassing May’s previous record of 20,544 vehicles for a second consecutive record month.

It will hold its Nio IN 2024 tech day event on July 27, where it will unveil its research and development achievements and launch the second-generation Nio Phone.

Li Auto had 10,900 insurance registrations last week, down 3.54 percent from 11,300 the week before.

So far this month, 30,200 Li Auto vehicles have been registered for insurance in China.

The company delivered 47,774 vehicles in June, second only to last December’s record high of 50,353 vehicles.

In the second quarter, Li Auto delivered 108,581 vehicles, within the guidance range of between 105,000 and 110,000 vehicles.

Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) had 1,900 insurance registrations last week, up 11.76 percent from 1,700 the week before.

So far this month, Xpeng has that number at 5,400.

In the second quarter, Xpeng delivered 30,207 vehicles, within the guidance range of between 29,000 and 32,000 vehicles.

Xpeng opened its first showroom in Hong Kong on July 19 and said sales orders in the city exceeded 500 units since it began taking orders two months ago.

Xpeng gave the first model in its Mona lineup, the M03, its debut on July 3, and said the official launch will be in August.

Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) had 10,500 insurance registrations in China last week, down 7.89 percent from 11,400 the week before.

So far this month, Tesla has that number at 28,400 units.

The US EV maker sold 59,261 vehicles in China in June, down 20.15 percent from 74,212 a year earlier, but up 7.33 percent from 55,215 in May.

Tesla China exported 11,746 vehicles in June, down 39.67 percent from 19,468 in the same month last year and down 32.33 percent from 17,358 in May.

Earlier today, Tesla further extended its 5-year 0 percent interest loan incentive in China to August 31, which was set to expire on July 31.

Xiaomi (HKG: 1810, OTCMKTS: XIACY) had 1,500 insured registrations last week, down 34.78 percent from the previous week’s 2,300 and the second consecutive week of decreases.

In June, Xiaomi’s only current model, the SU7, delivered more than 10,000 units, Xiaomi announced on Weibo earlier this month, without revealing specific numbers.

In July, Xiaomi SU7 deliveries would remain over 10,000 units, Xiaomi’s car-making arm Xiaomi EV previously said.

On July 2, Xiaomi EV said it would undergo a new round of production line optimization to boost capacity.
